Glasgow branch gives £500 to tsunami appeal

The branch agreed to donate £500 to the special assistance fund that was set up in conjunction with the International Federation of Journalists, to assist media workers and their families affected by the recent tsunami.

Jeremy Dear, the NUJ General Secretary, had made a direct appeal to thousands of members, branches and chapels, urging them to support the fund.
